When I arrived in the Philippines airport, I ate a sweet potato flavor bread of Philippines style. It was soft and delicious. In Bacolod SM mall, I drunk sugarcane juice. In here, sugar cane is very famous production. It was sweet. But smell was not good. And coconut milk juice. When I tried this first time in the SM mall, This taste is ordinary. However, in the 888 mall, second time was very sweet and delicious. And then, Philippines mango is very popular and famous. So I drunk mango juice. When I tried this, mango juice was fresh. I felt this. In Korea, I never could feel this taste. I'm lucky to come here! In Bacolod, The famous food is chicken. Unlike Korea, Philippines chicken have juice of flesh a lot. And method also various. Almost restaurant have chicken dishes. Chicken was very fantastic. And other things are beef and pork steak. In the restaurant, beef and pork steak was very soft. I think that one of the reasons why steak is soft is filipino. Because filipino has weak teeth. this is just my personal opinion. And their food is very salty. Because of weather of Philippines. Philippines weather is very hot. we cannot imagine the weather condition in here. Finally, My best food was seafood in Palapala. It seems like zagalchi market in Pusan. I went there with Youngsan Unisversity students. After we buy products, we ask for cooking to chef. Every marine products was there. The kinds of products were various. Also, cooking methods were a lot. We ate shellfishes, shrimps, fishes. Shellfishes was grilled. Shrimps was cooked with chilly sauce. And other shrimps was cooked with butter. Fish was cooked with soy sauce. It was cheap and very delicious. I could not forget this taste!! In Bacolod, All my experience and memory are valuable and impressed. I will study more, I will make lots of good memory. |
