<div style="display:none">fiogf49gjkf0d</div>Korean education VS Philippine education KIM HEE JIN ( ALISA ) The reason why I hose this topic is my realization when I came to study English in here. School in Korea felt much different compared to the Philippines. I think other Korean students feel the same way. We feel lucky to be chosen for this program. But first, I want to compare each country's education style. First, Korean students are still going to school at 8 am. And students have English listening test from the supplementary classes, each night to prepare. All classes finish at 9 pm. Philippine students just like us are going to school by 8 am. But they finish at 5 pm. Second, Korean teachers of the speaking class is more on lectures. Korean students only just listen to the teacher's lecture. While Philippine teachers and students tell each other's opinion, use English textbook and communicate in English. So the Philippines system of education is different from Korea. Third, individual skill is an important thing in Korea's education. So students learn certain talents like piano, figure skating, soccer etc. So Korean children have multiple skills. Filipino children also enjoy sports so since their class finish at 5 pm. They an enjoy other activities. Therefore, I realized the method of education is very important for the student's growth. So, Korea is also for the students. But I wish I had the English education system that is more practical so that we can express ourselves better and more fluent in the English Language. |
