But I did not spend my time with them. Sometimes we are just greeting each other, or meeting for fun. And I’m always meeting them, but I didn’t ask a simple thing to say ‘How are you?’. But now it can be known in the Philippines how precious it is to spend moments with them. When I go to school, I have always been encountering my neighbors. They always recognize me and kind. Everyone feels reluctant about Monday but, my neighbors feel bright. So they start my day comfortable. I know that is tough when greeting with a smile to people you don’t know. So their smiles are so highly great valued. I realized that a simple conversation with a neighbor is a very pleasant one. I usually split the greeting of courtesy only. But now I will be greeted with a bit more interest to my neighbors. There are people making fun of me when I hear just name. They’re my friends. My friends know who I am. So that makes me comfortable. This makes me share a secret to my friends. And sometimes I feel annoyed to my friends. Because I know they are always take my annoying. Sometimes they got be hurt…because my annoying. So it should be able to lean on, do not always produce expected deception. I am always contacting by sending a message or meeting. Sometimes I just ignore the message. But now I will not ignore. I know how precious this moment to talk to each other. Family is a haven that I can always lean on. My family always gives me encouragement, believe in my choice that I make and respect my choice. I’m now in the Philippines, thanks to my family. There are always by my side. It may be a little tiresome to my family. On the other hand, my family misses me so much when they need me. So I give a lot of interests to my family. ‘How did it go today?’ Just a simple ‘hello’ that may express interest to them. I will promise not to neglect my family. I could feel the importance of the people around me after coming in the Philippines. When I am with my people(neighbors, friends and my family). I did not know the importance of my people. But in the Philippines, I realized the true value of having a family. They always protect me, but now it’s time to return my help to them. |
