| <div style="display:none">fiogf49gjkf0d</div>Silay City KIM HEE JIN / Alisa Silay City is in the Western Visayas. Bacolod which we live in is far from Silay City. It will take about 45minutes. So Silay City is a place I can afford to go travelling. Saturday, November 8, I visited this place. I sorted information of Silay City and travel literature. First Silay City is listed by Department of Tourism as one of its 25 tourist destinations in the Philippines. It is considered the seat of arts, culture and ecotourism in Western Visayas. So they have a Golez Heritage House. Silay City had been known in the past as the ‘Paris of Negros’ and the ‘cultural and intellectual hub of Negros’ due to the residents’ love for knowledge and works of art, and its collection of heritage mansions built during the height of the Philippine sugar industry’s success, of which Negros was the canter. Second we left this place with interesting mind. We ride a jeepney, we went to North bus terminal. And then we ride a bus during 20minutea. We got off the bus. I saw opposite side the old church. We followed my friends’ teacher’s opinion about using that route. Also including the old church. I heard that the old church was built long time ago. But when I saw church I feel that the church is clean and well managed. I entered the church, I was overwhelmed a large scale and grandeur, a divine feeling. I came out and I looked around the church. On one side there was well-maintained garden. When I saw pictures inside white exterior walls of the building, It was an illusion in the west. Third We went to Balaring mangrove bridge. When I cross a natural bridge I can be close to nature. This bridge was made of woven bamboo. So I felt in a bridge was more eco. When I saw mud flat under a bridge, I think that it is similar Suncheon Bay Eco Park of Korea. The space has clean air and many trees. We walked calmly and cool. Also this place have a position that they can relax. Therefore it is conformity that someone is making good memories. As a result, I think here is date course of lovers. By the way we finished looking aroud and we found famous pie shop in Silay. Pie shop’s name is Elideal. This pie has the cinnamon flavor arid thick. When we ate the pie, it taste good. Through this trip I know more about another city except in Bacolod. This trip was very short time for one day. But it was meaningful and useful. Especially, Philippines is a foreign country to me. So it is more special thing that I saw Balaring mangrove bridge. Accordingly, I hope another person visit this place. There awaits different appeal as Suncheon Bay Eco Park of Korea. I was interested that my feeling was thrilling exploration of new place. |
