This is what I'm going to point out. you know giving your all sounds great right? giving is one of the best virtues humankind know. we have to give to the best we can , sounds great ,but I'm not buying it. I think selfishness could sometimes be on our advantage. In our modern world, people tend to survive thinking of themselves. I call this survival of me, myself and I, yeah most of you think this is call negative and selfish but if you look deeper, would people also give their best or their all to you? I give, I help , I share but I always make sure I have something for myself, because in the end , I also believe that being selfish could help us in our self development. we can't move or improve if our thoughts one all giving to others, thus taking our selves for granted is one of the worst things we can do to ourselves. I'm not saying that lets not give or help anymore but at least I want you to grasp a bit of knowledge that all giving and not having for our selves leads to destruction. Lets take this proverb for example " save for the rainy day, Does it mean lets all save for our future? yeah you're right but it could also mean that lets save some time to work, contemplate , relax and enjoy , save some effort to focus on our own concerns and save happiness as what we are all looking for. Lastly , thorgh I say being selfish has its good and bad aspects , Lets give or share only through what we can selfishness that resonates love to our selves and not greed that destroys us. lets give, lets share, lets love but lets remember we cant do all those unless we first love ourselves.
