We have quad class, so we have to take a exam in the last week. Quad class exam is persuasive speech. So we have different topic each other. My topic is “Does fashion destroy creativity?” It is fortunate because my topic is related with my major. My major is fashion design. This is my opinion. “Fashion is an expression of one’s individuality. Creativity is how someone express their individuality. So in short, fashion and creativity go together because you can see never express yourself in fashion if you are not creative. So, I disagree that fashion destroy creativity and I have reasons to support my opinion. First, in fashion, there is what we call “style” and with style we should be creative. Just imagine the world, if the only color you can see are black and white. How would you feel? Is it attractive? Of course, we will find it boring. But if we add a little of green, yellow, blue, red and orange. We will see the world in a different perspective. Second, we can not express ourselves as individual if we only mimic other peoples’ style. There will be no individuality and it will be boring. Therefore, I conclude and I would like to say again that fashion and creativity always go together. Because they compliment each other. Like in my case, I like fashion, there is style and in style. There is creativity!” When I presented my speech, I was nervous. But I was really happy. Because the results was successful. It was very nice experience. |
