For three months staying here I can say that my English has improved. Though I ve experienced some proved. In learning English, I'm so glad that I overcome them. The system of education is good especially to foreign students who want to learn English. I'm so blessed to hare passionate and kind teachers. They teach well and they help me when I don't understand the lesson. They are always there to guide me and encourage me when I'm in the midst of glving up. As for me, they are the best. The school offers different curricula program. I have four one on one class and one group class. I learn speaking, writing, reading and listening. I can say that this class (men to men class) helps me a lot in improving my skill since I'm the only one student,the teacher gives more focus on me. I get the chance to speak more and I'm not shy to say what's on my mind. My teacher guides me in everything I do that's why, I love it so much. As for me,learning English in man to man class is much better compare to learning in a group. With my group class, I'm also glad that. I Have awesome classmates and a kind teacher I also learend a lot with this class. We have many activies that enhance our skills. We get to know Philippine culture and talk to Filipino students. I also have the opportunity to make friends with other classmates especially with other foreign students like japanese. Moreover, the Philippines has a very interesting culture. One of the things that I find interesting is jeepney. A jeepney is public transportation vechile. It's very interesting because 16 people can ride the jeepney and people pay by using coins and not by using a ticket. One of the thongs that I do like also in here is that Filipino people use their hands when they eat. Filipinos use their hands to eat foods like grilled chicken and grilled pork with rice. In Korea, Koreans like to use chopsticks, but in the philines, people don't use chopsticks. Another culture that I experienced in the philippines is being kind and hospitable. During my stay here in the Philippines especially in Bacolod,I felt that people were very kind to me. Actually, Filipinos are very kind and smiling in good and bad times. They also help you willingly especially if you need help asking for direction. They also appreciate people and things even small things. I think, appreciathing things especially small things is one of the best lessons that I have learned here in the Philippines. We must appreciate the things that make us happy to have a good and simple life. The Philippines experience is one of the best things that happened in my life. I didn't regret coming here in the Philippines twice. The philippines and its people will always have a special place in my heart |
