Philippines is one of the happiest places in the world. This is mainly because of its food, places, and people and culture. Truly, Philippines lives to its tagline: it's more fun in the Philippines. Below are some reasons why. Filipinos serve interesting food. One of which is "inasal"or grilled barbecue. Describing it as delicious is an understatement because tasting it is like tasting the food of the gods. They usually marinate it with oyster sause, soy sauce, vinegar, and "calamansi", a citrus fruit. It's very tender and savory. It is a bit saltly but it adds up to its wonderful taste and it increases one's appitite. Also, it is best served with beer. Another interesting filipino recipe is back ribs. The meat is very tender and is boneless. The sauce is perfectly made and it perfectly complements the back ribs. The meat magically melts in your mouth as the flavor explodes. Backribs is a god-given gift. The best thing about Filipino food is that it comes in a very affordable price. Philippines is rich with beaches. In a span of 6 weeks, I have already been to a number of beautiful beaches. One of which is Lakawon. Lakawon is a small yet interesting beach. The water is very clean and the sand is white. Also, it is well-maintained. It has a floating bar with delicious food. I also went to Cebu and Bohol. The former's beach is very clean and it homes a lot of sea creatures. Diving in its water is like watching a National Geographic show. It also have a lot of restaurant that offers good food. The latter's beach is also nice. It is peaceful. Its waters are clean too and it houses a lot of marine lives. There, I saw a swimming turtle and big fishes. Philippines is surely a paradise. Philippines homes kind, happy, and good-hearted people. Filipinos are very dependable. You can always ask them help if you need one. I feel so lucky to have met such people. Also, Filipinos seem to be very happy. They smile all the time. Some even greet as "annyeung" every time we pass by. They are so much contented with their lives that it could be mirrored on their happy disposition. Living in the Philippines is very fun. I have so much to explore yet. Given the chance, I would love to go back here hopefully with my friends, family, and loved ones. Truly, it's more fun in Philippines. Mabuhay! |
