| Living in a foreign country is hard, studying harder. However, living with good friends may ease the difficulty. My stay in the Philippines has been a roller coaster ride. At first, it was difficult especially that i am away from my family. Not to mention, the difference in culture. However, i have developed good friendship and relationship with students and teachers alike. With this, my stay in the Philippines is more of a happy experience than a sad one. At first, i felt hard to build relationship with with students and teachers because i am shy. But, students and teachers are very much accommodating and friendly. As a result, building relationship becomes easier. Teachers give praises which boast my confidence. They also make me feel home in a foreign land. As a matter of fact, one teacher invited me in her birthday party. It was a fun and memorable experience especially that it is the first time that they asked me out. Students are also friendly. We may came from different universities but we have developed good friendship. We sometimes go out and bond together. Teachers and students alike help me every time i find something difficult. They help me with my speech, monthly TOEIC test, as well as homework. I may have a lot of difficult things and works to do, but i am confident that there are peoples to help me. All in all, i am thankful to come to the Philippines and to meet good-hearted teachers and students. We made strong relationship that i wish to continue even-though i go back to Korea. I hope that all their wishes may come true as we part ways. I surely will miss them all. |
