| I decided to study English in this semester, because I want to go abroad to have my culinary Internship. However, it started with a really basic skill. In my opinion, I couldn't speak English easily. I stayed here for three months to explain my thought about the advantages and disadvantages of studying English here in the Philippines. Let's start with the advantages. It is hard to change my thoughts in English because my speaking skill is too poor. But, i attended 1:1 classes and use English everyday. Though I am not good at English, I gradually and naturally improve my confidence and English skills. After all my classes, I have a free time, so I fill it in with activities like studying. For example, In my writing class, I write a dairy as a homework everyday. I write what I do or what I think everyday. My grammar gradually improves after being examined each day. Disadvantage, Nothing has changed much from what I thought. There was a shortage of effort to make changes for three months. I had not have much time to study because i had to study some homework, quizzes and exams. It may sound like an excuse but, I think I have been bombarded by a lot of stress. I spent my time visiting Philippines even just a short period of time. Thanks to the teachers and friends who helped me. If I have a chance, I would like to come back with better skills. |
