| My Oslob Trip I have been on my personal trip for over a month since I came to the Philippines. The first trip was to see the whale shark at the place called Oslob in Cebu with Hyun-Ah, Jin-Wook and Shang-Gyeong. I was going to go on a day trip. So I got up early in the morning and got ready and set up a pre-rented car at Bacolod dormitory at 4am. It was too early for everyone to get tired and slept all the while. I woke up to buy a ticket to take a ship from Dumaguete. I got a ticket, I got into a ship and got to sleep again. When I woke up, I arrived at Oslob where I was doing Whale shark activities. I went on relaxing trip, paid the activity price, received a letter in Korean, read it and changed into a bathing suit. They gave us a life jacket and a pair of goggles. I went on a small boat for about two minutes and saw a whale shark, stopped my boat and went into the sea. It was the first time I had ever seen a whale shark, but it was the first time I saw it really close. It was so much fun. But when the whale shark’s mouth was right behind me, I was afraid the whale shark would eat me. I too many pictures with whale sharks. And I enjoyed it a lot, but after 30minutes, the rain poured down a little while. After that, we went to a nearby restaurant and ate. I went to see the famous waterfall and it was raining so I could not go in because of the fallout. I was sorry but I went to the ship to go to Bacolod again. I slept all the way to Bacolod by car. I was tired but it was a really fun day. The experience of seeing a whale shark will never be forgotten. |
