| What is the best lesson or experience that you have had here in the Philippines? The Philippines seems to be a better country than I thought. Filipinos in the Philippines greet each other with laughter. My favorite experience in the Philippines was to see the Masskara Festival in Bacolod. The Masskara Festival is a yearly festival held here. During the festival, I saw a parade where people wear beautiful costumes and masks. This festival shows the happy and positive attitude of the people living in Bacolod. I looked around and saw many people who were enjoying the festival with their friends and family. During that time, Lacson Street, which is a famous street in Bacolod City, was closed and no jeepney was allowed to pass by so that street is full of people especially at night. There were big speakers on the street that play many interesting and good songs. People enjoyed dancing with their friends and family. Another thing is, I ate a lot of delicious food like chicken inasal which is a famous food in Bacolod. Also pork and I also enjoyed drinking with my friends. My experiences here were fun and memorable. It was a good choice to know and experience Philippine culture. |
