This week is the last week. I experienced interesting things in LSLC, especially during the Hangeul class; it was memorable. At that time, I had a lot of concerns because it was my first time to teach Hangeul. If I do not teach well, they will not be interested in Hangeul. But, I was so surprised during the first the time I met my student, because my student could speak in korean very well. He studied in Daegu for 1year. So at first, I did free talking with him. He spoke korean well, but if he could not understand any korean word, I would explain it in English. I also learned English a lot. He explained the philippines culture in korean. Also, I taught about korean culture. I thought he really loved korea. He always said he wanted to live in korea and get a job there. I always want to cheer him up. We went to a korean restaurant in our last class. After that, we parted, hoping to see each other next time. I know he will come back to korea agian. If he visits korea again, I will help him because we are good friends to each other. I was very lucky to know my Filipino friend through this program. |
