| <div style="display:none">fiogf49gjkf0d</div><Bacolod city of smile> I am so lucky to be back here in the Philippines. This is my second time and my second month here. As for me, this is the best experience ever. I am staying in Bacolod city. It is one of the most wonderful cities. I've ever been. And i have the chance to experience the festival. It is called Masskara festival. They celebrate it once a year, every October. I am curious about it so much. So i asked my teacher about the history of the festival. When and how it started long time ago the province Negros Occidental (Bacolod city in the capital city) suffered from scarcity. So for them to hide their feelings of sadness and hunger, they wear masks. That's why Bacolod city is known for the city of smiles. People here are very kind and hospitable especially to foreigners . They smile and great you even they don't know you. Moreover they are helpful people. One time, i went to the post office to get my package. I didn't understand what the person was saying. There was an old woman beside me , she felt that i needed help because I couldn't understand the person well. So, She helped me. I was glad that she did that. English language is kinda difficult for me. But nowadays, I can say that i am improving with the help of my teachers. I am so happy that i have given the opportunity to study here in the Philippines. I still have one month to stay here. And one thing is for sure that i will be learning more. I will do my best to study and to experience a lot here. I will not take this time for granted because this is my chance to improve more especially my English ability. |
