This essay topic is about “culture shock”. I will tell about south korea’s and philippines’ culture differences. First culture shock, The philippines security guards carry guns and gurad the stores. Bacolod city is a safe place in comparison with the other places. However, some bad situations can happen, that’s the reason why there are security guards. Second culture shock, In philippines, It is summer all-year-round but philippines has two seasons. Philippines has rainy season and dry season. In rainy season, rain falls heavily. Third culture shock, Different Transportation. Just like in korea, taxi also exist in philippines. Also in philippines, Jeepneys and tricycle exist. Jeepney is the remodel for the US Army Jeep. The tricycle is simiar to the taxi which most people use helpfully. I think tricycle is very good transportation because it is very cheap. In addition, the philippines has many small buildings. Also philippins’ food is very salty and oily but tasty. However, every day be careful with food and water. The people in philippines are amicable to korea people, In the philippines people always greet. koreans when they meet. So I was scared at first. However, now It is okay. The south korea’s culture is different and the feature is different. However, it is not a problem for me to experience the culture of other country. I think the world is so big and I want to experience other country’s culture. |
