<div style="display:none">fiogf49gjkf0d</div>Crazy Things I Have Done In The Philippines I have been in the Philippines for almost 2 months. I have become familiar with the things here, so, I wanted to do something different. First, I went to a movie theater to watch an English movie with no subtitle. There were lots of movies with English titles to choose from. While I was checking the number of occupied seats I saw that it was almost full. I saw the movie title, "This Guy's in Love with You Mare", so, I thought that it was a nice and funny movie, so, I decided to watch that movie. When I entered the movie room, and they started playing the movie and I was listening to it, I couldn't understand. that was the time I realized it was not an English movie. I was embarrased, so, I went out realizing that it was a Filipino movie due to there was no foreigner watching it and the actress said a Tagalog word. Because of my desire to watch an English movie with no subtitle and just considering the English title of the movie I ended up watching a Filipino movie which I really couldn't understand even with a subtitle. Second, When I went to Manila with friends, one thing to see Rizal Park and Intramuros riding on a horse drawn carriage. The man first told us it was only 20 pessos, so we took it. we roamed around Rizal Park and Intramuros for 30 minutes, we were so glad with this wonderful experience. after the trip, when we were about to pay the man told us it was 2,000 pessos. I was shocked because this was not the price that we agreed upon. I asked man why suddenly different price. The man said that he already gave us a tour and 20 pesos is just a tip. I got angry and we argued, even thinking going to the police to settle the matter, I agreed going to the police but the man lowered down the price from 1,500 pesos it became 1,000 pesos. To end the argument I paid the man 1,000 pesos. After the incident I began to calm down because I don't want to ruin our vacation. The things that happened to me were not good, but those were my experiences that I won't forget that left a lesson on me. |
