The most interesting is the Filipino food culture of the Philippines. It a lot of special features not found in Korean food. To explain the features of Filipino food, First, Filipino food is mostly salty because they belong to a warm area. When I had my first meal, I was surprised by the food's strong salty taste food. But now, I‘m eating well after adapting to it. Second, Filipino food is cheaper than Korea. In Korea, If the price of an average meal is 7000 won, here, it is 5000 won. Everything seems cheaper than Korea I am satisfied, I can live leisurely here. Third, Street food and other snacks are well developed. One such example is banana-cue which is a whole banana or plantain skewered on a short thin bamboo stick, rolled in brown sugar, and fried. Finally, Bacolod is characterized by it is Sugar Cane in thr streets. I think, for this reason it bread and dessert are with a lot of sugar and. can be bought at a cheaper. Being a foreigner, and Food management major, to taste know and I the country's food experience to know the country's food is a very rewarding and I am thankful of. I only one more month remaining here. So I expect to experience more for my growth and self-development. |
