| I came here MAR 3. When I arrived here, I’m worried Philippines life, because weather is very hot, but first day feels hot. Second day is better. There are a few things that shocked me. First, price is cheaper than Korea. Specially food is very cheap. So, if you go to Philippines, just bring nothing. You can buy here. Second, Filipinos are very interested in Korea bacause Korean drama, movie and singer are popular in here. Also, Filipinos are very kind to Koreans. I think Bacolod is very famous for studying English, so many Koreans come here, and I thought Filipinos are not interested in Koreans, but when I walk on the street, Filipinos always say “안녕” and always looking at Koreans, so I feel that I become star. Finally, Filipinos have open mind. For example, When I look at one man holding hand with one girl, I think they are couple, but one man told me “She is just x-girlfriend, and I like other girl.” When I heard this, I’m very shocked, because after Korean couple break up, they just ignore each other. All in all, during first and second week, I was very shocked, but the more I adapt, the better my life in the Philippines. |
