| In Bacolod,Philippines I arrived in Bacolod at 5:00AM. When I arrived in Bacolod, I felt hot and humid. I felt tired,so i slept early. After I slept in the dormitory, I did a city tour. At that time, I was surprised about the various things I saw. First,The Philippines do not have many traffic lights,but there was no dangerous situation. Second, They sell small packets. In korea, we don’t generally packet of shampoo, body wash and detergent. In the philippines, many stores sold small packages. It was very convenient. Third, Filipinos always smile. When I looked at them, they smile. Also, they are kind. They always say “안녕~”. So I was surprised at first. Fourth, If I will buy a movie ticket, I can watch the movie many times. It is so awesome! Movie tickets are cheaper than in korea. In korea, a movie ticket price is 500pesos. But movie ticket’s price is 220pesos in Bacolod. Fifth, there are many kinds of transportation vehicles. Jeepney is a typical transportation vehicle in the Philippines.When I get on a Jeepney, I pay only 6pesos. Taxi is also cheaper than korea’s taxi. Bacolod’s taxi starts with 40pesos, so i usually take a taxi. Sixth, Philippines’s weather often changes, so to bring an umbrella is necessary. Even if it is sunny, an umbrella is still necessary. Because it is very hot here. These are what I experienced and learned in Bacolod. I don’t regret that I visited Bacolod. Bacolod is good place and I want to visit here again. I want to do various things and experience Philippines culture. Also, I will study English hard to improve my speaking skill. I don’t want to waste my time because time fly so fast. |
