| It was April 8, 2017 when we went to Lakawon Island, located in the northern part of the province where we are currently learning English in. Many students from seveal universities surprisingly joined this event with had actually been arranged by LSLC office. I was excited because many people said that Lakawon was like little Boracay. It was an hour ride from Bacolod city, and fifteen minute boat ride from the port. When we there, we were speechless. We were stunned as it was breathtacking. It was one of the most beautiful places that. I have ever seen. It was like a view in a movie. Everyone was starving, so we immediatley went to the floating bar, which is actually made of wood with a restaurant inside, to have lunch. After devouring a cheeseburger, some fries and orange juice, we all jumped into the sea like kids. It was scary. I actually hate deep water, but it was somehow fun. It was a remarkable experience. Apart from diving and jumping into the sea, we also had a banana boat ride. It seemed easy at first, but we all ended up falling in the water. It was terrible swallowing saltwater. I almost felt like dying in the water because I could not breathe. I do not think I can do it again. I can say I had a great time on the island. The view was sceni c. It has been engraved on my mind until now. |
