Three weeks have passed since I came to Bacolod, the Philippines, on March 26, 2019. It's almost a month away, but I'm still adjusting to the life of San Augustine University and LSLC. It seems to be melting into Bacolod without homesickness in the friendly smiles and friendly greetings of Filipinos. Group class consisting of 5 students including me and a teacher, I met teachers from all walks of life during listening, speaking, reading and writing classes. I am always grateful for the leadership of the group teacher, who keeps an eye on each students and drags out two hours of class so that she doesn't fall behind anyone. The teacher of listening class is happy because 50 minutes feels like 20 minutes! The teacher in the speaking class knows what I don't know right away and solves my curiosity before asking me, so I'm happy every time! The teacher of reading class is easy every time because she understands my intention and kindly corrects it after waiting for me to finish my unfinished writing skills! The teacher in the writing class is helpful each time by giving me information about Bacolod beyond the text and helping me to make my life here a little more comfortable! If I've been asking Barcolod endless questions and adapting, In April, I plan to focus on studying, events and travel in line with Bacolod's reply, which has always been pleasant. The beginning of my essay to be written in April will then begin the introduction with a story about how I studied, participated in the event and enjoyed the trip! |
